About our Network

The South East Cancer Clinical Network is focused on delivery support of the national priority clinical cancer programme as identified within the Five Year Forward View. We have a key role in supporting local delivery of this transformational programme across the South East. The provision of clinical leadership and advice aligned to this programme remains core to this approach.

To deliver this locally we have had 2 main programmes of work which are:

 1.    Awareness & Earlier Diagnosis (AEDI)

 2.    Living With & Beyond Cancer (LW&BC)

During the course of 2017/18 the delivery of the cancer agenda will move across to the emerging Cancer Alliances in the South East and to reflect this our current programmes will work to support their local establishment.

The Cancer Alliances in the South East are as follows:

 1.    Kent & Medway

 2.    Surrey & Sussex
